Marmor Natvm – “Initium” living table

Initium dining table is the star and masterpiece of the Marmor Natvm collection. Its name is an allusion to the origin of life itself, the fault line from which it springs. Composed of 1876 tiny inlays, it represents the trembling of stone and the dawn of life on earth.

Portoro Silver, Bianco Thassos, Fior di Bosco and Super White marbles, in shades of white and grey, run along the midline of the table top with a bold motif that forms an almost palpable movement. Seemingly suspended above the floor, the slender table top is further embellished with an inlay on the edge, which extends all the way to the leg in elegant Ashwood Fumè, creating visual continuity.
