“Mikado” – Artwork

Budri Artworks are pictorial interpretations, made of marble, onyx and semi-precious stones, through which designers express, on a large scale, new forms of artistic language. Like paintings, Artworks are true works of art for their uniqueness, research and complexity.

Like "Mikado" - the game characterized by colored chopsticks - Mikado Artwork is a "free fall of color" combined with the rigor of shapes, typical of Japanese creativity. The contrast the between Nero Marquina background and the sticks of different widths and thickness, create a game of optical illusion. A four-handed work between the designer and Budri's artistic direction, that allowed to revive the nobility of marble combined with the luxury of lightness.
