Expertly intertwining craftsmanship with the primordial essence of nature, the Geodies collection by Budri, designed by Patricia Urquiola, celebrates the intrinsic beauty of geodes, the true protagonists of this project. Using deliberately simplified geometries and showing a profound respect for the precious material, in all its forms, each piece of the collection, presented at the Milan Design Week 2024, preserves the purity and authenticity of the materials, thanks to a skilful use of natural colors and the harmonious combination of materials such as glass and resin. Quartzes, geodes and rocks coexist in a surprising symbiosis with pictorial marble slabs and rigorous shapes.
The subtle play between shiny and matt, typical of natural stones, is explored in each creation of the Geodies collection, adding a 3D effect and a further level of complexity. As hybrids, the pieces in the collection embody the encounter between the hand of man and the power of nature.
The collection, made up of unique pieces due to the rarity of the stones, includes: two Dining Tables, eight Coffee / Side Tables, a large Artwork and a family of six Table Mirrors.
