Research & Development

Flagship of the R&D department are the Marble Eyewear "Genius" and "Intarsio" collections, designed by Valerio Cometti for Budri. Both collections are entirely made of ultra-thin marble glued with structural adhesives to composite materials, to make them light and resistant to the stresses of use. The bezel allows the insertion of sun or optical lenses, thanks to the geometry obtained by a 5-axis milling machine inside the front.
