World Rugs project signed by Marazzi Architetti; a collection of modular “prèt a poser” floor and wall coverings inspired by weaves and warps from the five continents, opening up new horizons for designers and planners.
The project aims to evoke the atmospheres and languages of some of the world’s most fascinating cultures, proposed in a refined key that is easy to apply in interior design. A collection with a contemporary and global taste, made up of five patterns: Rome, an evocation of the graphic motifs of ancient Rome; Dubai, a weave of arabesque geometries; Glasgow, a houndstooth fabric in British colours; Cape Town, with the warm and bright tones typical of African fabrics; and Pyongyang, a motif that recalls military camouflage are the collection’s boldest proposals.
The five patterns are available in different combinations of marble and onyx. A wide and articulated proposal designed for residential, contract and retail environments. World Rugs confirms the aptitude of the company – an international leader in marble processing – to search for new proposals of materials and workmanship, which can satisfy design requirements and the increasingly internationalised taste.
